What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has been a part of the Shoals for the past 50 years!

Our services are designed in such a way that whether you have been raised Lutheran, Catholic, another Christian denomination, or even if you've never stepped into a church before, you will feel comfortable, and understand what is being said, and why. Most our songs that we sing are traditional hymns, fairly well recognized. Some of our people dress up for church, and some of them come in casual attire. It really is about the heart, not the clothes.

Service starts at 9:00AM

We practice open communion - meaning that any baptized believers of Jesus Christ are welcome to receive communion.

Following service, we have a fellowship and education hour.

Throughout the year, we often have additional weekday services, and Bible study groups.
